Adriane Nakagawa Baptista

Founding partner

PhD student of International Trade at the University of São Paulo Law School, with an LLM in European Law and International Trade at the University of Leiden (LExS Gold Scholarship). Certified DPO by the University of Maastricht, Netherlands (ECPC-B).

Lawyer at the Brazilian bar, with experience in national and international arbitration, in the fields of construction, technology and commercial law, at CAM-CCBC, CCMA CIESP-FIESP, CAMARB, CAM, SCC (Stockholm Chamber of Commerce), ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) and other arbitral chambers. Founding partner at Nakagawa Baptista & Baptista.

She also works in trade, developing studies and research for advice and strategic planning in technology and arbitration, and is a researcher at the Center for Global Trade and Investment Studies (CCGI) of the Fundação Getulio Vargas São Paulo School of Economics (EESP/FGV). Coordinator and professor of Contracts, WTO and Dispute Resolution at IRICE-FIA postgraduate courses. Director of Atelier Jurídico, a research and teaching center in international law, global trade and data protection.
